Our Heritage Chinese Class is designed to immerse students in the Chinese language and culture. We focus on practical skills through interactive learning and engaging activities. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to advance, our experienced teachers lead multi-level group classes designed to challenge every student at their own pace.
Unit 1 (1st 10 weeks)
Basic greetings, introductions;
Text: nursery rhythms;
Vocabulary: numbers, animals, body parts;
Reading: Stories from picture books.
Unit 2 (2nd 10 weeks)
Basic daily conversations;
Text: nursery rhythms;
Vocabulary: nature, food, vegetables and fruits;
Reading: Stories from picture books.
Unit 3 (3rd 10 weeks)
Functional daily conversations;
Text: nursery rhythms;
Vocabulary: clothes, sports, transportation tools, jobs, color and shapes;
Reading: Stories from picture books.
Unit 1 (1st 10 weeks)
Text: Riddles, poems, Rhythms;
Vocabulary: body parts, numbers, plants. (105 new words);
Reading: simple stories.
Unit 2 (2nd 10 weeks)
Text: Riddles, poems, simple stories;
Vocabulary: nature, animals, common objects at home. (95 new words with mastering total of 200 words);
Reading: simple stories.
Unit 3 (3rd 10 weeks)
Text: poems, 1 page stories;
Vocabulary: animals, weather, seasons. (105 new words with mastering total of 305 words);
Reading: 1 page stories.
Unit 1 (1st 10 weeks)
Text: 2 page stories learned in 2 lessons;
